2.) The most formative experience has definitely been the new insight I received from the lectures. It has completely changed the way I see business, the world, and life in general. Besides the lectures, a pivotal moment was the second reading where I learned about the different mindsets. The experience I will most remember years later will probably be this feeling right now - looking back and realizing just how important and pivotal every moment has been. The realization that every little moment is important. That in itself is joyous.

4.) I would first off recommend that they get organized as soon as possible. Business, entrepreneurship, college, and life are serious things that should be approached appropriately. Another recommendation would be to do all of the assignments. Also, have an open mind going into the course.
Hello Matthew, I read about the fixed and growth mindsets as well. I definitely agree that it was very valuable, and it so happened that I have been applying that since the beginning of the semester. It was nice to see it in writing and in concept. Organization is definitely key to succeed in the class; the material isn't necessarily difficult but it requires attention to fully get the most value out of.

I definitely feel that sense of satisfaction having completed everything, and I know all about that feeling of missing an assignment or trying to get it done before the deadline. It feels like you grew a lot from this class.

Also, getting organized early is key for this class since there are so many assignments due each week. I definitely agree with you there. I mentioned something similar in my post about how not procrastinating and staying ahead is the key to success in this class.

ReplyDeleteI agree that the lectures are something that will have a lasting impact after this class. I feel like I have learned a tremendous amount from them as well. They have given me information that I feel like I would not get from any other class on campus. Doing all the assignments would be very helpful I agree!
